Melrose Place cast news

Heather will be appearing in a few episodes of the CBS comedy "Rules of Engagement," which stars her "friend" David Spade.

I'm not sure of an air-date, but the episodes will most likely be shown sometime in October.

Additionally, Heather has supposedly been working on a new tv series that originated in Britain. The show will be adapted in America, but no air date has been set. Hopefully, with some luck, it will be a mid-season replacement or begin next fall.

Let me see, what have I heard so far:

Daphne Zuniga to do 5 episodes or so of "One Tree Hill" and "Nip/Tuck" in November
Grant Show a regular of "Swingtown?"
Rob Estes a regular of "Women's Murder Club"
Kelly Rutherford a regular of "Gossip Girl"
Alyssa Milano to guest star on "My Name Is Earl"
Brooke Langton to contiune on "Friday Night Lights" (at least the premiere)

Zuniga is on Nip/Tuck tonight at 10 pm. Don't know how many episodes she'll be doing.

A couple of Melrosians will visit us before Christmas. On Thursday December 13 both Alyssa Milano and Jamie Luner will appear.

Luner on "C.S.I." she's the fourth Melrosian to visit the series. Luner also appeared on "CSI: Miami" in 2002.

Melrose Place alum Laura Leighton stars in this (cheese-ball) movie about a high-powered NYC magazine editor who comes “home” after her estranged father dies. Cue sappy music.



It also repeats on Feb 1st and 7th both at 9pm.

Courtney called in this morning to complain about the movie, claiming they should've cast her instead and call it "Courtney's Son" - the leader of her fan club Thomas J. couldn't agree more, he tells Tvguide.com

Daphne Zuniga continues her role on One Tree Hill on Tuesday January 29th and the week after February 5th. I watched a promotion of her character and I gotta say it's perfect for her, her character is kind of bitchy ;-) This show is in my opinion the show closest to MP on air these days, especially now that the characters are in their twenties. Hope Daphne will be there for awhile.

Jamie Luner who was on C.S.I. in December, if ya missed it her episode will repeat on February 7.

Rena Sofer will be on Ghost Whisperer on December 5. I wonder if she will play a ghost or a demon I just found out that she will guest star on Dirty Sexy Money as well on Nov. 26, the same night as Grant Show makes a guest spot on Private Practice. Sure will be the night of the Melrosians

Rena is very active on the guesting this season, she already been in Two and a Half Men, I haven't seen it but I guess Charlie banged her like he banged Heather is season 1?

Wow, I really love Dirty Sexy Money, it's really the closest thing we have today to a batshit crazy soapopera, looking forward to see Rena in it

Wow, Laura Leighton needs something better than Cheesy movies on the Billy Channel, lol They REALLY need to find a way to bring Syd back from the dead in the MP remake, lol

As for CTS, on Dec. 2nd, ATJ returns for it's hopefully last season. The second episode this season will called, "Cheryl's New Best Friend" when Jim tries to find Cheryl another best friend when her sister Dana moves. The role will be played by Thomas Jankowski, lol

Also, hate to break the news but Dirty Sexy Money was cancelled, so not sure we'll ever get to see that episode..

BTW, guys, as your moderator, I promise to start updating this place more, first to let everyone know, the first half of season 5 will be on DVD Feb 10th, and secondly, keep it here as more news becomes available regarding the MP remake to hit the CW in Fall 2009...

Too bad they cancelled Dirty Sexy Money, I just started watching that! Anyway they usually air all episodes that is produced here either if it's cancelled in the USA, so I will probably see her when that episode comes on.

Laura Leighton needs to come aboard the new MP yeah! She only does cheesy movies and occasional guest spot these days. She has much more potential than that, it's time to stop wasting her talent and wake up Syd from the dead, she has it all!

So if you don't have better things to do on a Saturday night I suggest you grab Alison's favorite snack and watch this movie as you may see Heather drive over the poor sun glasses LMAO. The actress who played Nathan's formerly wheelchair-bound wife Heidi on Heroes is set to join the CBS procedural NCIS, where she'll have a potentially recurring, long-time guest role as hard-nosed, no nonsense lawyer Margaret Allison Hart, reports TV Guide.

Rena Sofer, who was also on 24 as Jack's sister-in-law Marilyn, will visit NCIS starting on the show's first post-holiday episode on January 5, and her character will reportedly have an ex to grind against Gibbs (Mark Harmon). She'll cross paths with the team when her client is suspected in the death of a Navy pilot.

To the old 90s souls out there, Sofer, who turned 40 this month, she played Eve Cleary on the final season of Melrose Place as the woman who eventually married Dr. Burns (Jack Wagner).

Yeah for all the Melrosians on sitcoms However, while Grant Show is listed as still be on Accidentally on Purpose, I think he is off the show..he hasn't been in recent episode, and he is listed as doing a project called "Kate and Co", not sure if this a movie or show, you need to be an IMDB Pro member to find out
